- This program has undergone testing on a standard A1200 and also an A1200
- with an 030 accelerator and 4 meg FastRAM. It should run on all OS 2+
- Amigas.
- Sorry 1.3 owners, but I wanted the program to have new Gadget tool buttons
- etc. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Upgrade your machines.
- The font used is the superb XEN font from the Magic Workbench distribution
- by Martin Huttenloher.
-
- What?
- -----
-
- A utility for scanning memory for libraries, devices, etc., and returning
- their base addresses and version numbers.
-
- Why?
- ----
-
- Well, I wanted to know what resources, libraries, etc. were lurking around
- in the memory of my computer. So this program was born.
-
- How?
- ----
- Just make sure you copy the font to your fonts drawer and double click
- on the program icon.
- Then select the library, device, etc. that you want info on.
- There are a row of 5 buttons at the bottom of the screen, these are:
- QUIT. Does exactly that.
- REBOOT. Brings up a requester where you can perform a cold reboot on
- your system or return to LIBBASE.
- HIDE. Hides the program, and puts itself onto the tool menu. (Lets
- have some more documentation for Blitz please Mark Sibley. I really
- enjoyed getting that part working, NOT!)
- SHOW MEM. Puts up a window with current memory configuration and usage.
- FLUSH MEM. Frees up as much memory as possible, flushes unused libraries
- Etc.
-
-
- Who? And What?
- --------------
-
- LibBase was written on an A1200 with an Apollo 1230/50mhz and 16 meg of
- Fast RAM, in Blitz Basic 2.1 by TEQ Warrior.
